Tonight, January 5, sister restaurants coZara and Zama will come together for a night of flavorful Japanese fare — think sushi, yakitori, ramen and more — as both restaurants put forward their best signature plates for a collaboration dinner.
Head to Zama in Rittenhouse Square for the pop-up dinner from coZara, a relatively new University City resto, which specializes in traditional Japanese izakaya, a pub style of dining on small plates alongside plenty of beer.
The collab celebrates more than just a growing family of restaurants, though: tonight’s dinner will introduce coZara’s new Chef de Cuisine, Phila Lorn.
The menu promises plates from coZara, in addition to sushi from Zama.
Guests can look forward to dishes like fried shishito peppers, cauliflower balsamic teriyaki, shio buta salt-braised pork belly, panko crusted scallops, chicken thighs, gizzards, fat pig ramen porky belly, two types of sushi rolls and much more.
Pay as you go for desired plates, and be sure to call ahead to secure your spot for dinner.
